SUMMER-FALL transition (pieces)

There are so many wonderful trends for this spring/summer 2012 season, but if the fashion magazines still say they will be adaptable for fall/winter too, then why not use the same pieces for your next wardrobe too? Here are a few photos courtesy of shopbop.com on how to use your summery versatile pieces for fall.

Don't throw out all your maxi skirts & dresses as they can be worn on a cooler day too. Pair it with a chunky knit and a chunky scarf with some booties or oxfords and you are good to go.

Invest in a great pair of riding boots as soon as you can if you haven't already, they look great with a pair of denim cutoffs and a blouse, for fall, try a chunky knit sweater dress or dark skinny denim.

This little summer must-have is a great fall transitional piece as it can be paired with a blouse over top, a warm cardigan and a pair of ankle booties, add a coloured or patterned coat and you're ready for the cold.

Don't toss your white trousers because you think they belong with the warm weather, pair them with a dark toned pair of ankle booties, a knit, and some layers. You are good to go, trust us, you won't regret it.
